An Instagram April

I have to admit that I’m very glad April is over. Like much of the country we have endured endless icy rain showers, snow, hail and thunder. By the end of the month I was feeling fairly exhausted from the constantly changing weather (and perhaps my staying up past midnight netflix habit!). And that is where I am so grateful for my Instagram gallery, to remind me of the beautiful moments too, and that April also included plenty of cake and rainbows!

There were trips to Cambridge for the literary festival and Anglessey Abbey (post still to come) to see the gorgeous springtime blooms. An early visit to the secret bluebell wood, a lovely walk around our favourite lake, and a great day exploring the city at the Oxford Instameet. The weather may not have been perfect, but April was certainly busy.

I am so excited for the month to come. May Day began with the most beautiful sunrise, so we spontaneously packed a picnic and headed to the beach for the day. Another post to come later this week all about our trip to the sand dunes at Studland Bay.
