A visit the the Natural Christmas event at the local Earth Trust centre has become a regular festive tradition for our family. Decorations to make from lovely natural materials, and the chance for the little ones to try using proper saws and glue guns! We made hessian angels, reindeer food and stars from twine and twigs.

The Santa’s grotto there is the most beautiful I have ever seen. Mia and Joe both visited Santa, and I joined them as they each took their turn. Joe became so shy when meeting Santa for the first time, but just about managed to whisper ‘a toy train’ when asked what he was hoping for.
