The garden, the blossom and the trampoline

I have loved watching the very inspiring BBC Four Goes Slow series recently. What a refreshing idea to watch journeys and crafts completed in real time. The series also reminded me that I don’t take nearly enough film footage of Mia and Joe. I always love looking back at videos I have taken, particularly of natural everyday moments. Home movies are the best, and I can’t stand them being too planned or rehearsed….real and ‘slow’ is best! I have some film of Mia aged 2 playing in the garden, she doesn’t realise I’m filming and runs about, bossing her daddy around…not much has changed there!
I have hardly any videos of Joe, so thought I’d have a go at making one of him in his natural environment, the garden!
My film-making skills are really terrible and need so much work! I had lots fun adding a little bit of editing though, maybe I’ll share another little family movie in future.

Lovely post. I know what you mean with the slow living. I love my little videos I have made of my family, just wish I had more time in which to complete the ones I havent yet xx
