A portrait of my children once a week, every week, in 2014
Mia: curled up, watching penguins
Joseph: knees bent, exploring the sand
Mia: loves the sea, but has learned to be respectful and wary of it too
Joseph: loves the water too, but has no fear…he calls the sea the bath
Mia: ate half a bunch of raw runner beans
Joseph: ate half a slice of victoria sponge…and a little chocolate guiness cake
Joseph: drying off by the fire
The last couple of weeks have slipped by in a happy, beachy blur. These portraits are all from our holiday weeks; capturing different aspects of Mia and Joe’s personalities, and of our time away.

Such beautiful photos – I love the one of your daughter with the wild sea and the silver light. It is so hard to teach kids to appreciate the beauty – but respect the danger!

Thank you Kirsty. That’s so true about teaching the beauty and danger of nature to little ones! x
