Last week we stayed near Pickering, in the North Yorkshire Moors National Park. I was looking forward to visiting the area, but really didn’t know what to expect. It was so beautiful and unspoilt and incredibly green. It helped that the weather was amazingly sunny, which meant we could get outside and enjoy it all.

The first two pictures are from our cabin; a very sweet welcome, and the view on our first morning. The others were taken on a circular walk near the village of Cropton.

I have some lovely photos of Whitby, Scarborough and York to share soon.
