The tiny triangles for the patchwork baby quilt are nearly all cut and backed with paper, and it will be soon be time for the fun part of the quilt-making to begin! I love constructing the blocks and deciding which colours will sit next to each other. Yesterday, I had a little test-run to check the overall size of the quilt. It will be larger than I had imagined; I couldn’t actually fit all of the triangles onto the kitchen table!
I previously blogged about the quilt design and fabric choices here, and will share some more photos in a couple of weeks. At this rate, it might actually be ready for the baby’s arrival in late June!
